Synthetic brown corundum is a premium quality BFA grains manufactured from selectively procured raw materials by controlled fusion in an electric arc furnace followed by slow solidification. The unique manufacturing process results in a product of highly consistent chemical composition and physical properties. Low ferric content and high toughness of this product make it more suitable for vitrified bonded abrasive application applications and premium quality coated abrasive applications.
